Sleep Training Part 2

Writer's picture: Mummy SMummy S

Back to our sleep topic, here's a link to how we manage our 2 Ss. Credits to Mummyshomeschool for this helpful post. Read more: http://www.mummyshomeschool.com/shichida-5-minute-suggestion-method/ For the two Ss, I do routine around 6+ or 7pm everyday. For Little boy, since he's the first child, I get the luxury of spending more evening time with him. With little girl and 2 different bed time schedule, it can be quite tricky to get one after another into bed. Not forgetting you need to wash up (yourself and the kids) and eat dinner too.

Different babies react differently. Do note to try to understand them and make changes accordingly. This is not a miracle pill or something that can be done overnight. If the kids sleep by 8-9pm it's like winning the top prize lucky. By 10pm I feel quite blessed already. By 11pm my patience will tend to get challenged.

Little boy sleeps through the night from 3 months while little girl does that since 1.5 months. To tell you the truth I didn't know about this when I had little boy. My nanny trained him since Day 4, a routine that the confinement nanny does and we followed. Little girl's schedule wasn't as timely when nanny left I started her with this method. She can sleep through since 1.5mo.
