New post: Learning through play. Finger family 👴🏼👵🏼👦🏻👧🏽👶🏻 Little boy recently was hooked to the YouTube. (I know this is really bad but but but... It happens 😩😢) One of his favourite songs is Finger Family. There are lotsa different versions but generally comes down to the basic tune and characters which is Father, Mother, Brother, Sister and Baby. Just the eye power doesn't help much for his development, I had to come up with something for him to play with what he sees on the videos. This also helps to relate what he sees into touch and feel. (Ok I hope it really does and no just self comforting 😅) So here's funny faces version of finger family. Happily singing his way through the train and bus rides whenever I stick this stickers on his fingers. If you hear a family tune, maybe that's us! 🤓 The initial idea came from an old pack of face design mozzie pack, which I need to use them up cos they were near expiry. Also, little boy was cranky in the stroller and I need to distract him. Which kid doesn't like stickers 😏 From there, we had Daiso coloured round labels (something I found from Daddy's stationery), animal faces stickers, etc etc. I like the coloured ones as we can incorporate colours learning as well. His fingers sure stiffen up for some time with the stickers on every fingertip hehehe 😆
