Indoor sand play? Can't imagine playing sand with aircon? Yes it's possible and so much fun!
We had the opportunity to visit #sandydandy last month and the 2 had quite an experience there. There are 2 play areas at Sandy Dandy, the sandy play as well as a "dry and clean" area and not forgetting food area to rest and fuel up with good food.
For a start, the kids were given a jumper cover to keep out the sand, especially if you didn't want the sand to get into their butt or clothes. Yes, they have size for little girl too! Cute right? Make sure they don't touch their hair while playing otherwise sand will get everywhere and can get really messy. Little boy wasn't really fond of sand but that day he went in for 10minutes (a record!) before going to the other play area for the rest of the visit (we stayed for 3hours 😁) Little girl on the other hand, enjoyed having her sensory time with sand very much. But she kept wanting to eat the sand so Daddy limited her play time. 🙄
If you think sandy play is messy, don't worry, they have some dusting tools for brush off at the sandy play entrance if You need to move to another area. Good thinking. Also to note their sand is different from those on the beach. They have kinetic sand nearer to the slide and further end is natural sand. Maybe that's why little boy can last 10mins inside there 😲 but I don't think he went to the natural sand area 😂
We will definitely be back to try out the sandy play again, for little boy overcoming his fears also for little girl to let her experience the sand again when she doesn't put every single thing into her mouth 😅 I liked the food n play side by side concept, easy for mummy who bring 2 monkeys out alone to lookout for the kids within that area.
