The kids had lotsa fun with frog theme sensory last Saturday. The session was organised by local community centre, aiming to bring families closer with activities. One thing I like about this event is that they had collaborated with mymessybox and each ticket gets to bring home one messy box and an airplane! With subsided (I think) tickets, mummy thought just get 2 tickets because 2 kids, but unknowingly we also got 2 sets of stuffs. That's a lot and heavy! The session started with a song activity on speckled frogs and stickers where the kids get random numbered stickers and they are required to go around making friends and try to retrieve all 1-5 numbers. After that they sang the speckled frog song 🐸 paired with some actions.

We also got to try the coloured rice sensory box and some wet sensory bins. All boxes themes are related to the frog and ponds/ nature. The take home messy box is blue coloured rice with some leaf flowers props. There's also a small keidolscope! The wet boxes have water beads while one "dried grass" bin. The kids loved the one filled with water beads.

Lastly we made a huge diy cardboard plane to play. I really really think this activity should either given more time, or just given them out to each families and just bring home do. To assemble one already took much time and the kids wanted to play like immediately (daddy gotta be stern to keep off little fingers so that he can try to finish the plane asap.) Because of the limited time and huge size, we didn't managed to make 2 and the little girl cried so hard as though we deprived her of play 😅

Overall it's really a nice family bonding session and thankfully this blur mummy accidentally bought 2 tickets because the kids really fight over the messy boxes and also the next diy cardboard airplane!
