River Safari Mermicorno Meets Manatee

Writer's picture: Mummy SMummy S

Yesterday was the last day of the Mermicorno meets Manatee! Daddy and mummy went there several times already prior to this and I can say this time round is a wonderful yet different experience at the #riversafari with all the #tokidoki characters theme and special Manatee Mermaid show. It's also the first time the kiddos went there to experience the different wildlife. There are many many more Mermicorno on display around the park too and I think this kind of setup softens the overall serious atmosphere, creating a better learning for the kids. (Little girl cried at the sight of a big fish 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Wagon rentals is a must for each zoo trip and river safari is not an exceptional. The wagon is very useful to pull the kids and bags around and durable wheels can move around any terrain surface easily. Mummy secretly hope to bring the wagon home so she can dump the kids in and send/pick them to/fro school easily 🙊

We first visited the Manatee before moving to take the boat ride and visited Jia Jia and Kai Kai. Along the way, little boy pointed out the Submarino Mermicorno, the chaser blind box that he was lucky enough to open to. He says it's his favourite. We ended the day back to Amazon flooded forest with Manatee and the last show of the day Mermaid show. The mermaids were so pretty and one cute little baby Manatee came by to play too! We will be back again very soon as we still have the boat ride tickets and many more shows to explore.

Lastly, we would like to thank @theebullientbunch for the entrance tickets to River Safari from their mega birthday bash lucky draw! Thank you and happy 3!
