Getting the kids away from screens is always a challenge. Even with so many activities around the house, little girl's attitude towards learning is way over curiosity kills the cat. She's always up and about, looking for something to do (everything except for what we gave!) Sometimes it can quite difficult to note what this second kid is up to. I must admit, Montessori don't seems to suit her well. But we always try to work on something hands-on activity based.
After the unboxing from Friday, we left the mat on the table and didn't really clean up as it was really late. Yesterday morning, little girl woke up, went up to the table and helped herself to the pens and started colouring! Really amazed because she spend a good 15min doing her own messy art! And daddy also commented that she knows how to use the wipes to clean up! Daddy's really amazed by how easy the clean up is and the colours can be removed by wipes easily even on skin! Time to get another set so that the kids won't fight!
