The apron helps to define the activity - putting on at the start of work and taking off and put away after finishing activity. As part of independence training, the apron is to suit the child well and be easy to put on even for toddlers. Encourage the child to put on the apron themselves to create the sense of self, reducing reliance from others. Create an area easily accessible to the child to take and hang the aprons before and after each activity is done. This creates a sense of order. Please supervise use at all times.
