"Slime" Messy Sensory Recipe

If you want a messy play sensory recipe, read on!

Messy play plays a strong role in children growing up. They explore, they learn. Learning comes naturally when the child engages their sensors and they will remember what they had done. Recently we done a different slime dough cloud dough experience. As you can see, the texture is so unique and even hard to describe it. It is dense in water, yet feels so powdery when dry. It flows through the fingers so soft but yet we can tap it on the surface like some tough guy.

To make this slime-cloud "dough", you will need the following: - Corn/Potato/Tapioca Flour (We used a mix of potato and tapioca flour as these were going to expire) - Water

- Food colouring

Mix the water and food colouring till well mixed. Then gradually add in flour and mix. If it is too dry or wet, add more water or flour and adjust the consistency accordingly. Do note that the mixture will need to be use as soon as possible because water from the mixture will evaporate and the "dough" will become drier and drier. But don't worry, a small splash of water add in will mix all into the desired consistency again! The kids will have some fun exploring this unique texture!
